Lidinský Mašín Expert Office s.r.o. provides court-appointed expert witness services, judicial expert reports, and specialized consulting in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies, Cybersecurity, and Economics, with a particular focus on ICT valuation, forensic technical assessments, and expert opinions for judicial and administrative proceedings.
The company prepares independent expert reports for courts, law firms, public authorities, and private entities, including technical analyses, damage assessments, compliance reviews, cybersecurity incident evaluations, and valuations of information systems, software solutions, and related ICT assets.
We are also specialists in legaltech. Our expert witness role requires strict independence, and our long-term participation in judicial disputes gives us strong, practice-based insight into the Czech market and its legal and business realities.
We deliver projects for clients from finance, services, telecommunications, legal services, public administration, transport and healthcare. We have extensive experience with public procurement from both supplier and client perspectives.

Expert witness services
We provide expert witness services in compliance with Act No. 254/2019 Coll. in the following areas:

Digital evidence handling
We secure and document digital evidence for subsequent proceedings, including integrity, authenticity and timestamping requirements.
Independent application testing
We run independent tests of web, enterprise and mobile applications, separated from development and implementation teams.
Representation in proceedings related to cybersecurity and data protection
We support clients in incident-related proceedings, including proper evidence handling and process documentation. We also help design mitigation measures to reduce business impact.
Project management and quality assurance
We provide investor-side technical supervision and project quality assurance. Our expert practice includes dispute-related analysis of ICT projects, damage quantification and causality assessment.
Comprehensive ICT and security consulting
We design information security management systems (ISMS), prepare security documentation and implement organisational and technical measures. We also perform cybersecurity audits, feasibility studies and project preparation including subsidy support documentation.
Technical cybersecurity projects
We perform penetration testing, phishing simulations, SIEM and DLP design and implementation, and resilience testing. We deliver white-box, grey-box and black-box testing across web, mobile, databases and network technologies.
Regulatory documentation
We prepare regulatory documentation for cybersecurity, data protection and secure software development and support its practical adoption in client environments.
Information system architecture
We model system architectures in ArchiMate, including architectures for eGovernment projects in the Czech Republic.
eGovernment
We have extensive experience with shared eGovernment services in the Czech Republic and support adaptation and implementation.
AI models in practice
We apply LLM models and other AI tools in both expert witness work and day-to-day consulting. We use them to accelerate analysis, structure large document sets, support argumentation and improve delivery quality, always with expert validation, data security and transparent methodology.

Vít Lidinský

More than twenty years of experience in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have provided him with deep expertise and a broad range of practical skills applied across multiple roles. As an expert witness in ICT, he has participated in extensive projects where he applied specialist knowledge to solve complex technical issues and optimize technology processes. His expertise spans from technical consulting to strategic planning, helping organizations meet their technology goals.
Thanks to long-term practice and continuous monitoring of current trends and innovations, he provides recommendations and solutions that are not only up to date but also aligned with likely future developments in ICT.
In addition to expert witness practice, he also works as an instructor and cybersecurity auditor. As an instructor, he passes on practical experience to students and professionals and contributes to the development of new ICT specialists. His ability to explain complex concepts clearly and understandably is valued both in academic settings and in industry training.
As a cybersecurity auditor, he focuses on evaluating security controls and organizational procedures, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and proposing remediation measures.
